Do you love theatre, but now that you have a baby under one you feel like it’s impossible to get involved?
Do you feel like your role or place in society has changed now that you’re a parent?
We are offering group workshops which are designed for you to come with your lovely baby (don’t worry if they cry!), but for a change, the things we’ll be exploring will be all about you and your identity. We will be discussing, analysing and creating theatre that probably won’t involve nursery rhymes, but will involve fun, community, and a chance to get your teeth into the behind-the-scenes of the making of a performance.
The sessions will be run by award-winning White Slate Theatre, a young, dynamic, female-led theatre company who are creating a new show about the choices in having a baby and how someone leaves a legacy, and they would love your help.
Workshop sessions will be held both in Canterbury & in Greenwich throughout March…
At The Marlowe Lab, Canterbury on:
Monday 6 March 10.30am-12noon
Monday 20 March 10.30am-12noon
